Rehearsals: First rehearsal will be Thursday 18th September 7pm to 10pm, then every Thursday thereafter until (and including) 27th November. A rehearsal schedule will be drawn up and distributed to participants.
Rehearsal venue: Rosary RC Primary School NW3 2AE. Nearest tube: Belsize Park (3 mins walk).
Performance dates: Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November evenings. Venues to be confirmed, but most probably one in south London and one in north London.
Music: Chorus music will be provided as PDFs (which can be read from tablets or printed out). PDFs will be distributed soon. For ensemble and soloist pieces, we expect you to provide your own copies, and we will help with difficult-to-source pieces. George Ireland, our fabulous Music Director, will distribute the programme to participants shortly.
Subs: £70 for the project, plus an expectation to sell 4 tickets. (And we do have a bursary for singers under 28 which will result in a subs of £35). Basically we need to cover costs of our professionals, rehearsal venues and performance venues…
We are very open anyone joining us, whatever your level of musicianship – we’ll listen to your voice informally during a rehearsal just to check you are coping. It is an excellent opportunity for singers in choirs wanting to branch out into the opera repertoire.

Opera Integra is a registered charity (no.296206) that welcomes donations and gives charity performances for which it receives part of the income (the remainder going to the local charity).
In its early years, Opera Integra enjoyed financial support from Hammersmith & Fulham Council until 1994 when it ceased to be a local authority workshop and moved its main activities to the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, where it received generous support until 2004. Since then, Opera Integra has relied solely on ticket sales, donations, funds raised by its own efforts and the subscriptions paid by its members. We are grateful for any donations, which help us to continue our projects and performances.
